How does it work?

Attaching the extensions is very easy and does not require a trip to the hairdresser. Anyone can attach them at home in just 2 minutes. To help you, we have filmed an application video. Scroll down the page to watch it. 🙂  

How do I choose my shade?

Luxe hair does not need frequent washing because it is synthetic, rather than human hair. Washing it every 20 wears is generally enough, though you can wash it sooner or later if needed. Use your usual shampoo; a hair mask is not necessary. You can blow-dry it or let it air-dry. Sequins on clothing are a particular problem for Luxe hair, just as they are for any hairstyle: hair catches on them, which damages the fibres. When wearing long extensions or a ponytail, avoid sequins on the back of your clothing. With the care described above, your extensions can last just as long as human hair, or even longer.

Can I use heat on it?

Yes, but with a few precautions. Your straightener or curling iron must not exceed 180°C. Always test a small strand first to check the setting, as some tools may not display the actual temperature accurately. Once heat-styled, the hair retains its new shape even after washing. If you straighten curly hair, it will stay straight, and although it is not impossible, restoring the curls will be very difficult. If you curl straight hair, it will stay curly until you straighten it again. The key difference from human hair is that Luxe hair sets into curls as it cools. After removing the curling iron, keep the curl coiled until completely cool to achieve lasting curls. For tight curls, wrap the hair around a wooden handle or another suitable object that gives you the shape you want, run a straightener over it, and let it cool in that shape. Experiment with different techniques, always remembering that curls set as the hair cools. For further guidance, click this link to watch the video.        

How long does it last?

This is difficult to answer precisely. If the hair is not cared for, it will not last long — and the same is true of anything. However, if you follow the advice in the “How do I care for the hair?” section above, it can last for months or even years.

    I am a bleached blonde and have used both human hair and synthetic clip-ins for years. These are the closest to natural hair I have tried so far. The colour matches mine perfectly, and these U-shaped clip-ins suit me much better than seven-piece sets. My hair is thin at the roots, but you cannot see any difference when the clip-ins are in: the join is invisible. Nothing but praise and recommendations from quite a demanding blonde. You have lived up to my expectations!

    Blajhana sam plavusa i godinama koristim klipse i od prirodne i od vestacke kose Ove su do sada nqjslicnije prirodnoj kosi. Boja se savrseno uklopila sa mojom, i ove U klipse mi mnogo vise odgovaraju nego one od 7 delova. Kosa mi je pri temenu retka, ali se uopste ne vidi razlika kad se stave klipse tj ne vidi se onaj prelaz. Sve pohvale i preporuke od jedne prilicno zahtevne plavuse, ooravdali ste moja ocekuvanja!
