Luxe hair does not need frequent washing because it is synthetic, rather than human hair. Washing it every 20 wears is generally enough, though you can wash it sooner or later if needed. Use your usual shampoo; a hair mask is not necessary. You can blow-dry it or let it air-dry.

Curly hair should not be brushed. After each wear, use your fingers to gently detangle any strands that have become tangled. After exposure to strong winds, seawater or similar conditions, you can trim off any strands that cannot be detangled with your fingers. Thanks to the ponytail’s texture and volume, this will not be noticeable.
Every few wears, apply a detangling spray or silicone serum and run your fingers through the hair.

Sequins on clothing are a particular problem for Luxe hair, just as they are for any hairstyle. Hair catches on sequins, which damages the fibres, so avoid sequins on the back of your clothing when wearing long extensions or a ponytail. With the care described above, your extensions can last just as long as human hair, or even longer.  

Yes, but with a few precautions. Your straightener or curling iron must not exceed 180°C. Always test a small strand first to check the setting, as some tools may not display the actual temperature accurately. Once heat-styled, the hair retains its new shape even after washing. If you straighten curly hair, it will stay straight, and although it is not impossible, restoring the curls will be very difficult. If you curl straight hair, it will stay curly until you straighten it again. The key difference from human hair is that Luxe hair sets into curls as it cools. After removing the curling iron, keep the curl coiled until completely cool to achieve lasting curls. For tight curls, wrap the hair around a wooden handle or another suitable object that gives you the shape you want, run a straightener over it, and let it cool in that shape. Experiment with different techniques, always remembering that curls set as the hair cools. For further guidance, click this link to watch the video.    

This is difficult to answer precisely. If the hair is not cared for, it will not last long — and the same is true of anything. However, if you follow the advice in the “How do I care for the hair?” section above, it can last for months or even years.
