How does it work?

Attaching it is very easy and does not require a trip to the hairdresser. Anyone can attach the ponytail at home in just 2 minutes. To make it easier, we have filmed a video showing how we attach it. Scroll down the page to watch it. 🙂  

How do I choose my shade?

We are extremely proud that our team can match your shade with 98.2% accuracy when you send us photos of your hair. How do I care for it?

Luxe hair does not need to be washed too often, as it is not human hair. Washing it every 20 wears is perfectly fine, although you can wash it sooner or later if needed. You can use your usual shampoo. There is no need to apply a hair mask. You can blow-dry the hair or let it air-dry.

It is important to note that curly hair should not be brushed. After each wear, use your fingers to gently untangle any strands that may have become tangled. If you have been in extreme conditions (strong winds, seawater, etc.) and some strands cannot be untangled with your fingers, you can trim them off with scissors. Thanks to the texture and volume of the ponytail, this will not be noticeable.
Every few wears, apply a detangling spray or silicone serum and run your fingers through the hair.

It is important to note that sequins on clothing are the biggest enemy of Luxe hair, just as they are for any hairstyle. Hair catches on sequins, which damages its texture, so make sure the back of your clothing is free of sequins when wearing long extensions or a ponytail. If you care for your extensions as described above, they can last just as long as human hair, or even longer.  

Can I use heat on it?

Yes, you can, but under certain conditions. The temperature of your styling tool (straightener or curling iron) must not exceed 180°C. Before styling, always test a small strand to check that the tool is set correctly, as the temperature display on some models may show a lower temperature than the tool actually reaches. It is important to know that once you heat-style the hair, it will retain its new shape even after washing. So, if you straighten curly hair, it will stay straight, and although it is not impossible, restoring the curls will be very difficult. If you curl straight hair, it will stay curly until you straighten it again. The biggest difference between curling human hair and Luxe hair is that Luxe hair sets into curls as it cools. After removing the curling iron, it is therefore important to keep the curl coiled until it has cooled completely. This is the only way to achieve lasting curls. If you want very tight curls, wrap the hair around a wooden handle or another object that gives you the curl shape you want, run a straightener over it, and leave it to cool in the same shape. Let your creativity flow and experiment with different curling techniques, always remembering that the curls set as the hair cools. How long does it last?

This question is very difficult to answer. If you do not care for the hair, it will not last long — and that is true of anything. However, if you follow the advice in the “How do I care for the hair?” section above, it can last for months or even years.

    I am thrilled with the ponytail. I bought both the Afro and the straight one. I have yet to wear the straight one, so I will send photos then. Highly recommended.     As someone who had never worn extensions or synthetic hair, I was very sceptical. Before buying, I must have looked through all the photos and reviews at least three times on both the Serbian and Bosnian websites. My shade of red did not match any available colour; it was lighter and more mahogany. I chose a darker one and adjusted my own hair to match the ponytail. I should mention that I already have long hair, so my main goal was not extra length, but a quick, lasting hairstyle without damaging my own hair by curling it. Absolutely nobody noticed it was not my natural hair. I was also very nervous about fitting the ponytail, as I do not consider myself particularly skilled. But it is so easy to put on and there is no chance of it falling off.

    Kao neko ko nikada nije nosio ekstenzije i vestačku kosu bila sam vrlo skepticna. Mislim da sam pre kupovine barem 3x pregledala sve slike i recenzije kako sa srpske, tako i sa bosanske stranice.
    Moja nijansa crvene se nije uklapala ni sa jednom od ponudjenih, bila je svetlija i mahagoni nijansa. Odlucila sam se za tamniju i svoju kosu prilagodila tonu repa. Napominjem da ja vec imam dugu kosu i da mi primarni cilj nije bio produzetak kose nego da na brzinu imam frizuru koja je postojana i da ne bih gorila svoju prirodnu uvijanjem.
    Apsolutno niko nije primetio da nije moja prirodna kosa.
    Takodje zelim da napomenem, da sam jako stepila oko samog podesavanja repa jer ne smatram sebe vičnom osobom.

    I have to praise you for this ponytail, which I wear every day. I just finger-comb it and it looks like new. This is generally the one I wear most. I have all the shades, but I am amazed by the quality and how long it lasts. I patiently await every new blonde hairstyle :)

    Ja vas moram pohvaliti za ovaj rep koji nosim svaki dan, samo ga prstima počešljam i on je kao nov. Njega generalno najviše nosim imam sve nijanse ali sam oduševljena kvalitetom i koliko dugo traje. Sa strpljenjem čekam svaku novu plavu frizuru :)
